East Wall

This past storm was very good to the East Wall. We have enough snow out there for some pretty good skiing. Now the real work has begun. Saturday the Ski Patrol had a couple of good sessions with the avalauncher causing slides in Willy's Wide, both Falls, and everything North of Hershey. That work was followed Sunday by a couple of hand routes in the North Pole zone. Monday's work included cleanup in The Tree Chutes and Humbug Chutes. Additional avalauncher work brought down a decent slide in Hershey.

The forecast for the week is for unsettled weather and some new snow. It is way too early to pick a day for the East Wall opening, but we are off to a great start out there. Stay tuned for more action.

Bummer about the Broncos.
