Many members of the A-Basin staff are engaged at a variety levels of community involvement in Summit County. A couple afternoons ago, Colorado Mountain College Professor Jeremy Deem brought his Leadership, Ethics and Social Responsibility class up to The Basin for a field trip. Sustainability Manager Mike Nathan and I spent an hour and half with the group discussing everything from our sustainability practices to waste stream management to long term planning to our vision, values and keys to success. They were a fantastic group full of very thoughtful questions. Who knows, maybe there was a future A-Basin employee in the group?
