Today was a very good day for snowmaking. The morning started out cold, snowy, overcast and windy. As the day progressed, the wind died down and the sun came out. The high temperature at mid-mountain was only 21 F. The snowmakers have capitalized on the ideal conditions. Tonight, the temperatures may drop down to single digits. We have whales. Good. Good. Good.
