Yesterday we opened Lenawee Mountain Chairlift with some fine skiing on Lenawee Face and Dercum's Gulch. The snowmakers and cat drivers pulled another beautiful rabbit out of their hat. For me, there are several key bench marks to the ski season. Being open off the top is one of them. There is some snow in the forecast this weekend. Our patrollers are starting to wander around in areas without snowmaking. With each snowfall event, they will cover more and more ground.
I have to admit this is a photo from last November.
