Ramrod and the Upper Mountain.

We have moved several guns to Ramrod.  This is a very early move for us.  As we are putting the finishing touches on High Noon, there is a blizzard going on Ramrod.

So.....our sequence beyond High Noon.  We will open Ramrod next.  That will be followed by Lenawee Face and Dercum's Gulch and Lenawee Mountain Lift.  This is our normal sequence except we expect it to proceed at a faster rate due to high stream flows (assuming normal, seasonal temperatures).

The legend continues to excite and amaze!

Awesome! Can't wait to get run over by some out of control skier yelling something about "staying out of her fall line". I motion for banning all skiers except telemark this year, like Keystone did to snowboarders in the 90's.

@Anonymous I am a skier and I know I have been run over several times by crazy fast snowboarders. I find skiers to be much safer and calmer than showboarders...but still, if you want, I'm sure you can find some runs where there are mostly snowboarders...

I'm all in favor of revoking the pass for 10 years of anyone who hits another skier or boarder, even in the lift line (especially in the lift line?). Every year at least 20 fools mess up my new skis. That's like running into a parked car. You should be arrested if you leave without paying for the damage.

geez, ten years?! I ran into a kid, when he turned right in front of me, whose pass would be revoked? There was nothing that i could do aboutit. And after he turned, nothing he could do about it, especially at six years old. accidents happen sometimes. Not saying some people arent reckless. But i think that is an overly harsh consequence.

You westerners are so spoiled. Come ski the east a few days. You will then be able to appreciate your miles long and very wide trails and bowls. Skier accident avoidance is normally the responsibility of the uphill person. Things happen sometimes though.

Hey, the basin is opening with great conditions. If you like it, go ride it. If you don't, quit complaining. Ski Season is Here !
