Morning View

I spent most of the day in Denver at a Tramway Board meeting and missed getting on the hill. Bummer. I did take this photo about 7:15 this morning as I drove over the Pass. Ramrod did open and I heard it was good skiing. If you look really closely at the photo you can see that the East side of Pika Place is snow covered. We will get that never-ever beginner teaching area open Saturday.

Does buying a keystone/basin pass from vail resorts profit the basin less than just abasin pass? I always get just abasin mostly because i only ever wanna ski abasin but do i like to think it supports our mountain more and vail resorts less.. but really i have no clue how the agreement works

Anonymous ... the deal for the Epic Passes I believe is that the basin gets $10 for each day you ride there. So if you really want to support the basin and stick it to vail resorts ... Buy the full epic pass and ski more than 70 days at the basin! Not sure what the agreement is on the keystone/basin pass though, I would imagine it's similar.
