Ramrod - Thursday

We just had two absolutely incredible nights of snowmaking.  Ramrod will be opening tomorrow, Thursday. Two trails, YEAH.  I am still  getting lots positive comments from people about the quality of the snow. Snowmaking is going strong on the Upper Mountain.  For the next 5 nights, temperatures are forecast to be in the teens.  Pretty soon I will be talking about opening Lenawee Mountain Lift.

Man, All I can say is I have been skiing A Basin since 2001 and over the last 3 yrs I have only gotten an A basin pass. My 5 and 4 yr old learned to ski at the basin(even have a youtube vid of my 5 yr old daughter crawling on a tapstry, in april, at 6mon, on the "beach"). needless to say A Basin is our 2nd home. Anyway the snow on mon was incrediable. Never have I skied in snow that good that early. NTM, it snowed 4" while I was there. Awesome epic job by the A basin crew ( as always wouldnt expect anything different). Keep up the good work and thanks again. C y'all on friday

1 last thought. My wife and I had the "aahhhaa" moment last yr w/ our daughter and son ( 4 and 3 last yr, respectively ). Where they could load and unload all by themselves and ske blues and greens off of black mtn express. Just epic and a memory that I will never forget. Anyway, when I got home on mon ( we live in golden ) my 2 kids kinda gave me this look like " where the hell u been ". Then my daughter said " daddy did you just go skiin " and i said yes. Then she quickly responded " thats not fair way didn't u take me and bubba ". My response was easy ( well at least I thought i was ). u and your brother had school. without hestitation she said " well u took us out of school last yr ". Just so funny shit cuz she now is in K5 ( so no more cuttin school for her ). Best part though is my son is 4 and only in pre-school from mon - wen. Im off every thur and fri so he and I will be tear up the Basin all yr. Only 1 complaint.....please get the 6th alley open ASAP. Missed Matty and Erica on mon. Cant wait for it to open the pics and plans look pretty cool. Peace out y'all

Does anyone know if it is a possibility that Molly Hogan or a green could be open Saturday? Looking forward to getting the real little ones up.

9 month season! Amazing!
