Come Skiing Friday

We just had a cold and snowy night. Right now the snowmaking system is still cranking at near capacity. Mother nature delivered 4-5 inches of natural snow at mid-mountain. The forecast for tonight is mostly clear with temperatures in the teens, perfect for snowmaking. The reservoir is still almost full. Scotty is back in his cat dozing out the piles. Bill and I just walked High Noon. It is time.

WE ARE GOING TO OPEN FOR 2016-17 SEASON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 21.

The web cam facing the up High Noon got moved to the right. It's hard to see the action.

Also, why is the Black Mountain Lodge cam always facing your sundeck? I've occasionally seen it facing the hill to the right. The sundeck view is a total waste of this equipment. You should be marketing your product (skiing and snowboarding).

Living vicariously from the East coast and very jealous!! Skied AB my very first CO trip after college, loved it and now that I'm retired, I can't wait to get back! Keep providing us East coasters the stoke.

Thanks for letting me win my bet Al! Here's to a great ski season, may you stay open till July!

Guys they said in the description that they walked High Noon because that's the run they're going to open, just like every year.

@Anthony M

High Noon is always the first the open. Followed by Ramrod (Let some of it bump up please!), then Lenawee Face and Dercum's Gulch (Served by Lenawee.) Molly Hogan and Sundance usually open after that.

Hopefully you get the ESPN cameras up there to shoot 30sec of skiing footage to be shown on MNF! Good & free advertising!
