That was a fat 4" this morning. Actually, it continued to snow fairly heavily after report time and turned into a VERY good powder day. I took a number of laps on the North Side and did my usual four "last" runs over there. North Glade opened for a bit and was deep. The Alleys are in great shape. My favorite run, The Spine, is in top form.
I also took a spin in Montezuma Bowl. Last week's snowcat work is completely buried. The area looks exceptional. Over the next few days and nights, the cat drivers will be spending a lot of time back there. The weather looks to be clear Thursday and Friday and another storm is heading our way for the weekend. It is still too early to say "when", but we do have a 38" base. With this storm, we have a lot of work to do back there.
