Friday was our Annual Firehose Relay. Now when you first hear of this event, it sounds kind of silly. When you actually get to watch it in person, it is hilarious. It sounds simple, but it is no small task hanging on to the firehose while the team turns through the race gates. The guy on the very end has a tendency to get really whipped about. By my own observation, these firefighters don't have much trouble having a really good time.
These guys raised $30,000 for the Children's Hospital Colorado Burn Camps for kids. It is a wicked cool day. Thanks to the firefighters.
