Stormy

It rained for a bit today just after lunch. As I was pulling out of the parking lot around 5:30, it was started to come down again. Now as I look out my kitchen window, I can see The Basin is socked in. It will be a stormy night. There is still a very little bit of snow high on The East Wall. I suspect we will see more fresh white stuff by morning. Doubtful it will be cold enough for snowmaking though. Getting so close.

It is more than obvious to me that the construction at the base is the cause of the delay in starting the snow machines this season. Who schedules/starts a project like that so close to the season start?? Seems to me that its going to cost you all at least of week of revenues if not more...

Let's see; after the temp drops a little more, store a Hugh pile of snow above their lift que. Allow the contractor to properly backfill the work. Final grade. Smear the snow . Open a safe run....run a business.
