A couple of our instructors, Liz and Craig, were enjoying Christmas Eve at The Basin. Skiing their go-to run, Alex, Craig stopped, took off his glove and shook the snow out of it. Later in the day, while riding Lenawee Lift, Craig realized his wedding ring was missing. Over the next several days, they visited Alex with no luck finding the ring. It snowed more. Finally, they returned December 29 with a metal detector. After numerous false hopes, they finally had a positive beep. Scratching through the snow an inch at a time, they, miraculously found the ring. That is a "one in a million" kind of story. Wow.
