Last week "SheJumps" held a ski day at The Basin. The mission of the group is to increase female participation in outdoor activities. They accomplish that by hosting high visibility "Get the Girls Out" events. Over the winter I have had a few very nice conversations with the day's organizer Maggie Sullivan. I think it is fair to say they had a pretty fun day. Since I enjoy living in a household where my wife and daughter regularly thrash me skinning, skiing, biking, hiking and running, I am a big fan of events like this
